FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I have to come to campus?  No - this class if fully online, you can take this course successfully whether you live in Seattle or New York (or anywhere else in the world). 

Do I need a book?  All textbook information for your class is available in the course syllabus and on the bookstore website

How do I communicate with my instructor?  Once the quarter begins, all communication occurs within the ANGEL email system.  In addition, there are discussion forums in each classroom for student-to-student and student-instructor communication - these forums are our virtual classroom.

How do I get my financial aid form signed?  This will be done electronically.  Once the quarter begins (and after you have signed in to ANGEL and posted an introduction) please send an email to me using the Angel email - put 'attendance verification' in the subject line - in the body of the email please include your name, the course number, and your student ID number.  I will forward this message to financial aid and CC you on the message.

I'm going on vacation during the quarter - can I miss a week?  Yes - IF you complete your work in advance.  Students typically have a very hard time catching up when they get behind, but working ahead has been done successfully.
